On the 28th September 2012, Nan Hua Academy together with the Nanhua-sponsored Witbank Computer College hosted a graduation ceremony in the ABS Hall, Cultura Park, and Bronkhorstspruit.
At the beginning of the event, Nan Hua Academy welcomed the VIP’s, Mr. Jacque Protomead (Coordinator of 1st Aid Training Center), Mr. Philip Chen (Director of Computer Frontiers), Ms. Ann Chang (Director of MPISI Trading) and all other visitors, including over 68 learners who completed the Microsoft Office Specialist Course.
NHA was delighted to see some previous graduates attending the ceremony, sharing their achievements after they received MOS education at NHA. One of them was Anna Shaya, who was working for Nan Hua Temple and now she is working at Edcon Company. She said she is really grateful to Nan Hua Academy for giving her an opportunity to learn MOS.
In his speech, Ven Master Hui Xing (Nan Hua Temple Manager) emphasized that working experience is very important, and that the worth of the certificate is in how one shall use the knowledge obtained in the course - and he wished all graduates a successful future career, in which they will be able to apply the skills gained at Nan Hua Academy.
At the end of the graduation ceremony, the graduates took a group photo and enjoyed vegetarian lunch at Nan Hua Temple. Nan Hua Temple also arranged a special tour for the graduates and their family members around the temple complex, to help them understand what Buddhism is all about, and how Nan Hua Temple is contributing to the local communities.
