In order to implement the purpose of charity and welfare society, in the morning of April 15th 2013 Nan Hua Temple abbot, Master Hui Fang, and a Nan Hua monk, Master Hui Liao, accompanied by more than twenty people, including the president of BLIA- Lesotho Chapter Meizhen Yan, and some Taiwan devotees on leave in South Africa, traveled to The Kingdom of Lesotho, to make a donation of 48 wheelchairs, 10 crutches and 1 set Walkers to 13 clinics and hospitals. Filmed by a local television station. Ven Hui Fang said in his speech: “…we do not discriminate on the basis of religion, color, language, gender or culture… and believe that these wheelchairs can help your hospital patients, so that their welfare, health & physical mobility are better catered for...”
